I am a foodie and a traveler. My bucket list is HUGE (lots of places to visit and new foods to try). Travel and good food are two things that can truly bring people together. Keep the words of Mark Twain in mind: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” How true!
So your challenge is to get out there, try new foods, visit new places, talk to new people…in other words, travel like a local! You’ll love it!
